Who we are
These Terms of Use govern MindShield (yourmindshield.com) and related MindShield services (the “Services”). The Services are provided by Yourmindshield Inc.. By creating an account or using the Services, you are contracting with Yourmindshield Inc..
Registered / principal place of business: Carrer de Puig-reig, 19, Barcelona, Spain.

Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using MindShield, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and subscribe. By using the Services you confirm that you meet this requirement.
The service
MindShield provides consumer website-blocking software to help block explicit content and shopping websites on iPhone and Android. On iPhone this uses an Apple configuration profile; on Android 9+ it uses the system Private DNS setting. Both point at the same category blocklists. MindShield is not a VPN, proxy, anonymizer, or traffic-tunneling service.
Blocking depends on correct installation, network conditions, device settings, and the completeness of our blocklists. We do not guarantee that every website, app, mirror, or workaround in a selected category will always be blocked, or that protection cannot be removed or bypassed.
MindShield is not a medical, clinical, or therapeutic service and is not a substitute for professional help, counseling, or treatment for addiction, compulsive behavior, or related harm.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and device access secure, and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@yourmindshield.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, abuse of the Services, or repeated or serious policy violations.
Billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed according to the price, billing interval, and currency shown at checkout. Paddle.com Market Ltd (and its affiliates) is the merchant of record for MindShield purchases. Paddle processes payments, issues invoices/receipts, and handles applicable taxes. The Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel future renewals through the Paddle customer portal or by contacting support before the next renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or we agree otherwise in writing. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
Removing the iPhone configuration profile or turning off Android Private DNS ends blocking on that device but does not by itself cancel your subscription.
Impact estimates shown during onboarding are informational only and based on information you provide. They are not a guarantee of savings or outcomes.
Acceptable use
You may use MindShield only for lawful purposes and only in connection with devices and accounts you are authorized to manage.
You must not use the Services unlawfully; commit fraud or spam; infringe intellectual property; attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, probe, scrape, or compromise the Services; interfere with other users; or otherwise misuse MindShield.
Intellectual property
The MindShield name, website, software, configuration profiles, blocklists, and related materials are owned by MindShield or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use while your subscription (where required) is active and these terms are followed.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit our content or blocklists except as expressly allowed by us in writing.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete blocklist coverage, or specific behavioral or financial outcomes.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MindShield is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for MindShield in the 12 months before the claim or (b) €50, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Third-party services and links
The Services rely on third parties such as Apple (device profiles), Google (Android Private DNS), Paddle (payments), and website-blocking / infrastructure providers. Their terms and policies also apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from MindShield.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If you continue using the Services after changes take effect, you agree to the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel any subscription.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
